Engagement Session Throwback – 2024
I wanted to share pictures from an engagement session last year ! I have loved writing this blog and can’t wait to add more to it .
My lovely couple Gemma & Scott are getting married June 2025 , so last year we booked in their free engagement photo shoot (Free when booking all day photography) .
We decided on their wedding venue as the location , which was the perfect setting .

Its so fun to shoot at your wedding location , you can get so caught up and stressed planning the actual wedding – i like my engagement sessions to celebrate you both and allow you a chance to slow down and just be excited abut the big day. We can chat about your wedding and i love hearing all of your ideas .
We were really lucky the morning of the shoot , the weather was perfect ! Warm weather with no rain . Win ! I arrived early as i always do , just to get a rough idea of how the session is going to go . I visually set up some shots , prepared my camera and waited for them to arrive.
As with all of my engagement sessions – i love you to bring along the kids , pets or family . Whoever you would like to be involved , we can get pictures of you both as a couple aswel as with family members.
For this session my couple brought along their adorable little boy Mavi , we got some lovely family shots before focusing on the future Mr & Mrs Mumford . Luckily they brought nan along to watch little Mavi – so we could go off exploring.

The Granary in Daventry wedding location is stunning , a rustic converted barn with a beautiful marquee situated in the English countryside . I had lots of choice when pre planning my spots – rolling fields , white gravel fields and a perfect green lawn.

We kept round the back of the property – saving certain shots for the big day so the pics didn’t look too similar. I cant wait to get pics of them with the brick barn in the background , a rustic converted horsebox bar and inside the beautifully decorated barn .
To finish the session , we walked up onto the hill over looking the whole estate . I love to bring a bottle of bubbly to spray – not only is it fun to do . But it gives a fun element to the photos . Aswel as an extra way of celebrating you both and the upcoming wedding .

We shared a drink before saying our goodbyes , i was so excited to get home and edit . And now the wedding is just a few short weeks away ! We have had our pre wedding consultation – final plans and preparations are in place.
Gemma and Scott are having smoke bombs as their props aswel as giant glow sticks for the dance floor in the evening. This will be my first out door ceremony also , so im looking forward to that . And sharing all of the pics of course !
Good Luck Mr & Mrs Mumford to be !!
